Charles Darwin Station is an international non-profit research, dedicated to the conservation of the Galapagos ecosystem and provides the knowledge and support to ensure the conservation of island biodiversity through scientific research and complementary actions.

Is committed to cultivating understanding among the inhabitants of the Galapagos and contribute to the strengthening of conservation awareness to support the sustainable local development.

In addition the research station works closely with schools, fishermen, farmers, artisans, municipal councils, tour operators and the Galapagos National Park. In order to make the people and visitors aware of and strengthen their cooperation for the conservation of these islands.
